We are delighted to announce that for this first year, the Scarecrow Festival Team have been joined by Team ShazzAnn, the formidable masters in the art of raising money for worthwhile charities close to our hearts.

The ladies have worked tirelessly and have arranged some amazing raffle prizes all donated by the kind hearted and generous folk of Garstang and the surrounding areas. To everyone who has donated and Team ShazzAnn - We salute you.

Not only have they organised the raffle prizes but they are also organising a team of 50+ walkers to head to Yorkshire to take on the epic 3 Peaks Challenge in June. They aim to walk 24.5miles up 3 peaks totalling 2142 meters in 12 hours. They will all be raising money to support our two chosen charities.

This year we will be donating ALL money raised from the sale of raffle tickets to two charities.

The first charity is The Matthew Hesmondhalgh Memorial Fund - Cardiac Risk in the Young (CRY) . CRY is a charity that is dedicated to preventing young sudden cardiac deaths through increasing awareness, screening and research in addition to supporting affected families.

Our second chosen charity is Macmillan Cancer support. Cancer touches all of us in one way or another and this charity is dedicated to supporting cancer sufferers through treatment and beyond.

Thank you to everyone who donated prizes, who are listed below, and to all of you who dug deep and kindly bought raffle tickets.

We have great pleasure in announcing the winners of the first ever Garstang Scarecrow Charity Raffle as follows;
